After my years on the Texas border crossing into Mexico for who knows what, I have chronicled a list of tunes to describe and define the feel, vibe and tone of the Texas border and it definitely has a skank factor.
These are low down, dirty and cheap chops worth "having a beer and bone before you listen" songs...!
I brought these jewels down to the Rock Room Studios in Redondo Beach California and said.....just put 'em through the tubes and bind them up with some compression and let 'em rip!
Power to my border peeps in Brownsville, Laredo and that filthy town "Marfa" where I received the spirit for sure!.
