Dream Aria

INTRODUCTION:

DREAM: A succession of images, thoughts, or emotions passing through the mind during sleep.an involuntary vision occurring to a person when awake. A vision voluntarily indulged in while awake; daydream; reverie something of an unreal beauty, charm, or excellence.

ARIA: lyric song for solo voice with orchestral accompaniment, generally expressing intense emotion; found in opera.

Arioso: Short, aria-like passage.

Cantata: Vocal genre for solo singers, chorus and instrumentalists based on a lyric or dramatic poetic narrative. It generally consists of several movements including recitatives, arias and ensemble numbers

Trust me, you've never heard music like this in your life. It is a rare thing to come across as a music journalist, and that said, from Toronto, Canada, Dream Aria enchanted my heart with their brilliant melding of instrumentals and operatic vocals. Ann is also a brilliant and accomplished painter inspired by the surreal beauty of the cosmos. Her artwork appears on the CD jacket, Dream Aria, produced in 2005. With pleasure , we present to you, our special guests, DREAM ARIA. Pleasant dreams!!!
