Kate Campbell released her first album, the award winning Songs From The Levee, in 1994. Since then she has released ten additional albums. Her newest CD, For The Living Of These Days was recorded with the legendary Spooner Oldham. Kate's releases display a variety and diversity that is quite uncommon among many of today's singer-songwriters. Never content to rest upon her previous successes, Kate is continually searching, exploring and reinventing her music. Whether it's the Delta-folk-blues heard in Blues And Lamentations, the Muscle Shoals influence displayed on the riveting "gospel" collection Wandering Strange, the Southern flavored folk music of Monuments or the 1970's female country singer-songwriters who inspired Twang On A Wire, each of Kate's albums is a distinctive and incomparable slice of music from one of the most unique artists recording today.
