Katrin
Originally from Newton MA, Katrin started performing in New England clubs and coffeehouses in 1993. She began singing at the age of three, and started violin at age seven. Her love for songwriting was ignited when she picked up the guitar and formed a band at age eighteen. Her classical and rock n'roll backgrounds combine to give her music depth in both melody and rhythm. Katrin's recent release "Nature Spirit" has been receiving great reviews.
Katrin uses many different guitar tunings that weave her voice and music into a lush tapestry. Her diverse background, playing with different bands and as a solo artist has given her great command of the stage. Katrin's performances are riveting, with nothing but her acoustic guitar and a voice that will send shivers up your spine.
