Linda Dickson was born and raised in Northwest Louisiana. Early in life she developed a fascination with music, picking out songs by ear on the piano. She went on to be classically trained in piano as well as voice. By her early twenties, she was writing songs. Looking for an instrument a little more portable than a piano, she picked up a friend’s guitar and began teaching herself to play. Twelve years later she has won or placed in several songwriting competitions and played a variety of venues across the Southeast..
