there was heaps of singing around our house when I was a kid and we went to church twice on Sundays... a lot of singing happened there! there was my grandmother's piano in our lounge room there was a bakelite radio, and later on, a record player... mono my mum sang songs she heard from her Uncle George my sisters played stuff like The Seekers, James Taylor, Simon and Garfunkel my friends played Deep Purple, Kraftwerk, Lou Reed I got a guitar, began to write songs... when I wasn't surfing or skateboarding some awkward experiments with bands years passed, the songwriting continued, influenced by an increasingly wide range of music one of the songs was used in a documentary soundtrack, and later recorded by a local folkie years passed, music went on hold for a while but eventually came sneaking back the songwriting picked up again, in collaboration with friends and it became time to take the songs out of the lounge room solo acoustic, sometimes percussion and harmonies a few gigs here and there thanks to Kate Eve, The Triangles, Min, Pete, Fermin the first album is recorded the performance thing builds years passed and another album... thanks Jeremy! Richard joins in with double-bass and harmonies touring opens up wider landscapes there was no plan and this river of music seems to have got hold of me I just happened to be there
