About Chad Bowden
Born in eastern North Carolina raised on hunting, fishing, and old time country picking. I first heard music from Papas and Grannys Old Time Country radio and also the Bowdens who pick, eat BBQ, chew backer and swill the finest home brew with out missing a chord !!! My brother Kevin Bowden of ( 6PACK and Mud Jug) first got a Sears guitar with a built in amp and a few years latter I got a Texarkansas acoustic guitar and I have played allkinds of guitars and steels but none of them you could Bow Hunt with like that old Texarkansas with its high action !!!!! I have been playing music and Hunting and Fishing all my life age all three are my passions. I had the Good Luck of spending a few years on tours in Afgahnistan and Iraq and now out picking in the Carolinas again . I enjoy the sound of rabbit dogs hot on a swamp rabbits tail and the sound of REAL COUNTRY MUSIC from the South where it's at. In addition to playing solo shows I am also with the (SANDHILL RAMBLERS) A traditional Honky Tonk Band with Harold Bowden, Greg Horton, and Chad Bowden!!!!!!!! Catch us if your sick of those Models who call them self country. I promise real COUNTRY MUSIC !!!!!!!!
