| 9:10 am |  | Jim (talk/contribs) | The problem with Tim Harwill is that he released those albums under 3 different names. I believe they all link to CDBaby albums correctly. That is, fortunately or otherwise, the criteria for determining an artist name. There is not an "alias" capability at this point. The artist name has to match the CDBaby artist name (almost exactly except for punctuation) or else the system can never find the CDBaby album. We need aliases (REDIRECT sort of does that but it won't pick up the album). The real problem is when an artist decides to change their name mid-career - at least that's a problem in the impersonal world of computer databases. |
