Getting Started

Here's the absolute minimum you need to know to get started with Whole Wheat Radio. There's nothing fancy here, but if you look at these few simple things, you will be comfortable transitioning from the "old chat" to the "new chat."
First, create your username. Then, visit the Chat.
Check out how others do it
Take a look at existing pages. Click the Edit tab at the top of any page and take a look at the code. Click the Back button when you're done to make sure you don't accidentally save any changes on that page.

Practice on your own
Practice posting things elsewhere before posting in chat. Click on your name at the top of any page. Then click the Edit tab at the top of your page (called User:YourName), and go for it!
Keep the pages mentioned above open in separate windows so you can refer to them frequently.
(Note to editors: This page should be kept as simple as possible. The intent is to provide a bare-bones introduction to beginning chatters in Version 4.)
