Gnome-vfs

From WWR

NOTE: due to a wikimedia quirk, all articles must begin with a capital letter, thus this article is likely forever misnamed.

gnome-vfs (virtual file system) is part of the GNOME window manager which runs under Linux. GNOME is one of the two main Linux window managers - the other being KDE.

If you see gnome-vfs on the Who's Listening page the listener may be using a media player which is running under GNOME. They may also be using a Linux-based internet tablet such as the Nokia N810.

Sometimes you will see reference to neon as well; this not a player but a set of libraries being used to access WWR.
