My interests / hobbies
Music saves my life as far as I can remember. I was given a stereo at age 14 and ran and threw up in excitement, never knowing someday it would lead to the heart work I do now to literally save and encourage lives of all kinds, and without the Alaska Music scene it wouldn't mean as much as it does to the world. I have a radio show on community radio www.kvmr.org and bring life to the Alaskans down here and they assist me in the New Folsom Prison Project concerts and Poetry workshops. Listening to Whole Wheat makes me happy someone else is playing and supporting Alaskan musicians, for they should be heard beyond the last frontier!! I love you Esther and Jim for all you do, I don't feel alone!!
I produce shows locally, a promoter and sell ice cream to support my music habits, what a great life, music and ice cream, everybody is happy!! In my spare time, I take off to to Tahoe and sleep on the beach! Life is good!! www.prisonwings.org

How I found WWR
I heard through the Alaskan musicians, and found myself touring with a local Nevada City Band, Kipchoge and the Ginger Ninjas in Alaska a few years ago and Esther found us at the Fairview and kidnapped us for about a 2 hour live show with warm beer and lasagna while Larry Zarella was building the beautiful space you all get to hear concerts from. A beautiful surreal moment as Larry Zarella was the very one that helped put my show on the map and where it is today!! He rocks and should be bigger than Greg Brown!!!! And that goes for Melissa Mitchell homegrownak.com, and Poet Corinna Delgado, and Buddy Tabor!! And the beautiful Esther Golton really rocks with her new CD!!!! I love it Esther!!
