Here are a few pics of my little ukulele I built from koa and Southern cypress and ebony and deer bone. It has a scale of 11" and is 15.75 inches long overall

ho'o -to make or cause
iki - small
ho'oiki - to make small, or made small
keia - this thing, this person, the latter
Ukulele - the four stringed musical instrument
me - with
'elua - two
puka - hole or opening
No kahiki mai - made in a foreign land ( not from hawai'i )
literally it means "from the land of tahiti"
