Who can create a user page?
Every WWR listener who has created an account is invited to set up their very own user page. You can put whatever you like on your user page.
In order to create a user page, you need to register -- which is very easy and painless. You need to supply only a username and a password.
To view some user pages, click here. The names displayed in red have not yet created their user page.
Why create a user page?
WWR listeners create their own user page for many reasons. Here are just a few of them:
- To let other listeners know a little bit about them
- To talk about their hobbies and interests
- To post links to their favorite Web sites
- To post photos of their dog
- To post jokes
- Because it's fun, easy, and free
In addition, it's good practice. When you create your page, you will learn enough about this software that you'll be comfortable making additional contributions to the site.
How to create a user page
To create your user page if you have a User account,
- Click the red link with your name at the top of the page.
- Another page appears with an edit box.
- Type something in the edit box
- Click "Save page."
Or, go to the user list and click on your name. Then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page. Then do steps 2 through 4
If you do not have a User account, click the "Create an account" link at the top of the page. Supply an email address in case you ever forget your password. (Your email address is never revealed by WWR, nor will it ever be given to anyone or sold.) After you have created an account follow the above steps.
