Hello, Wheatheads! I've been listening to WWR since November of 2005. I'm a big fan! I really like all the variety among the artists played for our listening pleasure. I'm an elementary reading teacher in Wichita, Kansas. Amy is my daughter. Amy graduated from Wichita State in 2003 with a degree in Social Work. She works for the Kansas Elks Training Center for the Handicapped (Ketch) here in Wichita. She was married to Jeff in 2005. Jeff works for Davis Moore Oldsmobile here in Wichita. They had a precious baby girl on May 14th, 2007. I love being Grandma to Payton. My parents are still alive and well here in Wichita. I have two brothers. Bud is an Assistant Principal in a Wichita high school. My youngest brother lives with my parents, but works at a sheltered workshop. Mickey has Down Syndrome and is the angel among us. Bud is married to a teacher and they have two daughters. My nieces have been a big part of my life. Kate graduated from K-State in 2005 and is now at the University of Michigan working on her PhD in Chemistry. Kelly graduated from K-State in 2007. She majored in Art. As far as hobbies go, I love to read. I crochet, play the piano and violin, enjoy many kinds of music, and I have recently started making beaded bracelets. That's all for now folks!

Hi Jane/Checkmark! Welcome to the whole new world of Wheat!

I notice that you'd entered your preference info on the page of instuctions for preferences (Help:Preferences). It wasn't quite clear on that page that that info goes in the forms at Special:Preferences. I fixed up the preferences instructions and made them clearer, but you'll need to change the actual Special:Preferences.

In the chat you said you were trying to get your favorites from the old site to show up on this new site. Jim can make that happen. You can leave him a note on his talk page, User talk:Jimkloss, for when he's back to tending to the site.

Thank you sooo much for the secret wheatie gifts!!! I Love the CD's!! Mrs BR took the Dave Carter and Patti Griffin CD's with her on her drive to Atlanta yesterday. They are all wonderful selections!! They are gifts that keep on giving....every time I listen!! I really enjoyed doing this Secret Wheatie gift exchange!
