Welcome - yeah! Cool page! I think you're the first to put a phone on your page - I'm loving this wiki thing. Hey, do we play whoever your old college friends were? Jimbob 02:52, 17 March 2006 (AKST)

my friends from MT

No Jim, I found a few websites for them, but they never responded to my email, so once I found out about asking musicians to contribute their music, I didn't bother with them again, maybe I will one of these days, since you reminded me

question re: inserting links

I saw what you added to the Emoticon page, I was going to do some of that, but wasn't sure if the link to the Emoticon Cheat Sheet would be an internal link or external??

Is this the correct way to ask you a question here?

Yup, that's the correct way. I'm going to respond both on my discussion page and your discussion page. (I'll take the response from my page then cut-n-paste it into yours.) Although that's not strictly necessary to respond in both places, Sparky said it's what she does on Wikipedia. That way you will get the orange box with "You have a new message" to know that I'e responded instead of you having to keep looking at "Recent Changes" to see if I updated my page.
Links to anything outside the wiki are external ... even if the pages are on the WWR site. So you'll use a single brackets to indicate 'external link' rather than double brackets which indicate an 'internal wiki link'. When it comes to external images though, you don't even have to put brackets around the URL to the .jpg - just put the raw URL in the edit page and the wiki software is smart enough to know it's an image and display it.
One more thing - although it's no biggie I thought I'd mention it. When you leave a comment on someone's discussion page, it's best to sign it with ~~~~ (4 tildes) which will get replaced with your name and the date/time. That way when other people come in and read my discussion page they'll know who asked the question. But don't worry if you forget ... I forget all the time!
